Orangeville Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy (“Orangeville BJJ”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through orangevillejiujitsu.com and at the academy, how we use it, and your choices. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect
- Contact forms and the kids waitlist: your name, email, phone number, your child’s name and age, and your message.
- Online class bookings: your name, email, phone number and the class you book.
- Waivers: your name, contact details, emergency contact and, for anyone under 18, the parent or guardian’s details. Waivers are signed through Smartwaiver.
- Memberships: billing and contact details, collected in person at the academy.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your questions, book your classes, manage memberships, waivers and the kids waitlist, contact you about your classes or schedule changes, and keep this website working. We don’t sell or rent your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run the academy and this website, such as Cloudflare (website hosting and form delivery), Google (our email), Smartwaiver (waivers) and our payment processor. They may only use your information to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Photos and videos
We sometimes post photos and videos from classes and events. If you or your child don’t want to appear, tell a coach or email us and we’ll respect that.
Cookies
This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary cookies for security, and you can clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires (for example, signed waivers).
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time. Email orangevillebjj@gmail.com and we’ll reply within 30 days.
